Visit one of the three art galleries located in Historic Downtown Hamilton. From Picasso to Francisco de Goya, the Ramsey Collection is a collection of Old Masters, American Masters, European painters, and Modernists are housed in a recently renovated two-story limestone building facing the Courthouse.
The Hamilton County Historical Museum is housed in the former Hamilton County Jail. The two-story structure was constructed in 1938 and served as the county's correctional facility until 1996. It now serves as home to the Museum’s main collection.
On most weekends throughout the year, you can find gliders leaving the Hamilton Municipal Airport and soaring across the Hill Country sky. This unpowered aircraft uses naturally occurring currents of rising air in the atmosphere to remain airborne.
